Have you ever wondered how Venus and Mars are the same and how they are
different? These are just two of the many planets that bring
about amazement and curiosity. They consist of special features and
structures that only with special equipment can be evaluated and understood.
Although they are both planets of the same solar system, they are undoubtly
unique in their own cosmic way.



           
        Venus and Mars are alike in many
ways. For example they are both name after roman goddesses. Mars meaning the
roman goddesses of war and Venus meaning love and beauty. They both can not
have human form on them because of the deadly gas found on them. Venus and
mars are both smaller than Earth. And they are both part of the inner
plants.  



           
        Venus and Mars are different because
one is hot and one is cold. Venus is the hottest planet in the solar system.
There is no water found on it. Venus has temperatures that stay at 465 c no
matter what time of day or year it is. Mars is almost always sunny but very cold
temperatures around -60 c. Venus is bigger than Mars by 5,300 kilometers.
Venus has no moons and Mars have two. Mars have the largest volcano in
the solar system called Olympus Mons. And Venus is the only planet in the
solar system to turn clockwise. It rotation on its axis extremely
slow, suggesting that something has once collided with it to disrupt its regular
rotations.



           
        There are many interesting facts
about Mars and Venus. They have a lot in common with each other. However they
are both different in many ways too. Even though there is so much that we do
know, their existence still posses many mysteries. They are an important part of
our solar system that will forever be intriguing to all.
